3.0 out of 5 stars Fine for a start 1 Feb 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Delivered promptly. I found some of the chapters a bit too detailed and slow in some places and yet very scant if not out of date in others... A fair amount of time is spent on sketching sightings throughout the book yet the information on astrophotography is woeful. The star charts contain a lot of detail but the print is very small and is black on a bluish background which is very hard to read. I found the writing style dry which is a shame as the subject matter is so interesting.
