Plays CDs, audio tapes, MP3s etc. Can be operated manually or by remote. OK, but inferior sound quality to the no-longer-made AZ 2030. Lovely compact design, though. Very tough, robust.

The 1 being for the promptness of the delivery.
I have found:
* When playing a CD, the player whirrs which is incredibly off-putting. I am trying different CDs to no effect. The problem started as a minor one when this player arrived but has subsequently become more serious. I am sending it back.
* It is very badly designed. As far as I can tell it is impossible to turn the CD player on or off by using the remote alone. You need to physically go to the player and push a button. As I am disabled, this defeats the entire purpose of having a remote.
* The CD player came with a European 2-pin plug. An adaptor was also provided. The 2-pin plug does not fit well into the adaptor and constantly causes the CD player to become unplugged from the mains which means, again, attention at the plug.
Overall I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLAYER.

Sold as seen. The product does what it say's. However the mains plug was meant for European countries. The seller did put an adapter for UK use. Haven't had any problems with the product so far.
