Electronic Skip Protection (ESP) is an intelligent electronic buffer that guarantees uninterrupted music listening. Music is constantly fed into the player's memory buffer during playback, allowing you to continue to experience uninterrupted sound in the event of knocks, shakes or jolts to the set - accidentally or during sports. When shocks occur, music is released from the buffer while the laser promptly refocuses to the point at which the shock occurred and recommences playing to refill the buffer. ESP ensures smooth, skip-free music listening on your CD player while on the move!
Digital Dynamic Bass Boost is an intelligent bass booster that delivers maximum bass enhancement at high volumes without sound distortion and at low volumes without compromising on bottom-end bass frequencies. Technologically advanced electronics constantly monitor volume and bass levels, precisely calibrating both to prevent sound distortion, thus producing optimized bass. Digital Dynamic Bass Boost enables the enjoyment of superb bass performance - regardless of the chosen volume level.
CD-Rewritable Compatible means that your audio set can play both CD-Recordable (CD-R) and CDRewritable (CD-RW) discs. CD-R discs are recordable once and can be played on any audio CD player while CD-RW discs can be recorded and rewritten multiple times and can only be played back on compatible audio CD players. The laser pick-up and CD decoder circuitry of CD-RW compatible players are specially designed to read the special audio CD-RW phase change recording layer, ensuring you can always play your home-recorded discs on your audio CD system.

I highly recommend this cd player for those students who want their music to continue plying while running for a bus! I have dropped this cd player on many occasions and it is indestructable! Comes with a good pair of headphones that last and don't break! It takes a lot to make this player skip! The remote control is also excellent as you can control your cd player by using it clipped to your rucksack or your jacket. It's easy to use and the display is clear. Batteries last a while on the player so you get many hours of entertainment from it. I use this every day going to uni and since I bought it from amazon I couldn't be without it! It also looks pretty cool too, just a bonus of course!
