Excellent Product 25 July 2011
I got 2 of these for my daughters for a long distance car journey and they were worth every penny. The peace and quiet in the car is something I haven't had for many years. No more 'are we there yet'. Would definitely recommend these for travelling with small kids.

When this arrived (very quick delivery)it didn't take long to charge up. It was a little bulkier than I was hoping (takes up a little more room in my hangbag than I'd like) but is very light which makes holding your hand no real effort for long journeys. I'm using to watch DVD's on the train (my cheap version of an ipad!). The battery life allows me to watch a couple of movies, but my journey isn't that long, so it lasts a few days before I charge it again. You can't charge it and watch at the same time, but if you're watching it on the go, it doesn't matter. I love that the screen folds flat back on itself, but the controls (play, pause, ff,rev, etc) are then under the screen, so you need the remote (which is supplied) if you want to do that, BUT I love that when you turn it off on the handy switch on the side (when I change trains) I switch it back on and it remembers where I left off (starting a couple of seconds from when it stopped).

The screen does attract dust, but not a big problem and the volume drowns out most external noises, but depends on your headphones...(it would be nice if you could plug in 2 sets of headphones, but you can always get a splitter).

Enjoy!
