Bought this as a present for somebody who likes to watch big films on a small screen personally. Good picture, great memory, you can remove disc part player, even watch another film in between, then go back and carry on with original film from where you left it! Prompt delivery also, thanks.

Lovely, well made player. Excellent quality screen, plays nearly every type of disc, except DVD-RW(VR) which is a bit of a shame. The Blu-ray discs look superb with deep rich colours. Sound through the built-in speakers is a bit top-heavy but through a decent headphones is stunning (I use a set of Bose over ear headphones). There is no video-in capability and the carry bag is quite poor quality / just a nominal gesture really. All in all this should do fine for our long trip down to the South of France in the summer. The blu-ray capability just future-proofs my investment as I build up my collection. At this price the player is fantastic value. If you want to make it multi-region there is a hack on the web if you search for it. (it works!)

What we wanted was not just a protable DVD/Blu-ray player, but something that could also act as the centre of a small domestic AV system. That is exactly what this product provides. It's multiple input and output capabilities allow all sorts of video and sound systems to be connected, and with high quality (HDMI) output. It all worked very well and was fairly easy to set up. Minor quibbles are the on-off switch - why is it mounted underneath the device?, and the fact that you cannot alter sound level via the remote.
