I purchased this product to replace a Panasonic Fax Machine that's quite ancient.
Delivery was swift and the product was relatively simple to set up, following the instructions provided. I must note however, that to setup the product, you need to print about 10-15 pages, some instructions and then some confirmation of the settings. Seeing as though the Starter cartridge included only has a capacity of 33 pages, this uses more than 1/3 of the fax film, so if you are primarily going be sending/receiving faxes, I recommend you purchase
Philips Fax Ink Film Ribbon Black PFA351, which is the long life film so has a capacity of 140 pages, or alternatively you can opt for PFA 352, the economy film with 90 pages.
Generally the product is of good build and although the center panel buttons are slightly fiddly, once you get past the initial set up you shouldn't have any problems. Whilst I haven't had the opportunity to use the Sudoku, the speed dial and SMS features work well on the machine.
There is only one reason why I gave the product a 3 star rating and it is the size of the handset. I would say I have medium sized hands, yet the handset is too small and it barely goes across my face. This was more apparent for my wife who experienced neck problems from using the handset as it was uncomfortable to talk on for just an hour long conversation!
Therefore, overall a good quality product but unfortunately I don't believe that the handset size is sufficient, therefore this is probably more for people who will be using the speaker function or those who have small hands!
