Unassuming yet capable,

Looked at a number of similar units prior to purchasing on-line and was impressed with the unit's performance. Some competitors products were 2 to 3 times the cost and sounded no better and many were in fact worse.The sound is really good considering the power output and adequate for a small bedroom or a second holiday home or similar. Only minor critisism would be that some of the controls are a little small and tape deck only suitible for normal tapes but hey..for this sort of money not a major issue and comes with a remote. You can't really go wrong with this unit!

The Philips MC120 Micro System is a very attractive, compact system with good sound quality.The features I particularly like are: 1. A 'shuffle' feature which actually works. The only negative comments I have about this product are that: 1. The lowest volume is still quite loud, which generally isn't a problem, but it is a bit too loud at night. - Quite trivial things really! Over all, I would highly recommend this product.

I can't believe how excellent this product is for the price. I shopped around and had to send 2 micro systems back that cost me over £200. I'm amazed @ how this product provides the features and sound quality that the more expensive ones provide. Go for this product, you won't regret it.
