I got this for £60 in a Black Friday deal. It's a cool little gadget that works well as a mood light in my home cinema room. However, I do agree with the previous 1 star reviewer about the brightness level. If you're expecting to be able to read or work by this lamp you'll be dissapointed. It's purely an ambient thing, and works best in white rooms.

This being a new product, there's not much on the net about it at the moment. As previous reviewers have said, it's not the brightest of lights if you're looking for something to read or work by but as a mood light for watching TV, listening to music etc it's absolutely perfect. Don't be fooled by the picture which doesn't really do justice to the beauty of this product -- this is a solid, compact, decent looking bit of kit and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have some of the larger and more powerful Philips lights and wanted a much smaller version to fit in a particular space.
This exactly meets that requirement.
It is 10w rather than the 15w of the larger units but a fraction of the size.
Sadly some people buy these lights (both sizes) thinking that they are going to flood a whole room with coloured light. That is not their purpose since they are mood lights intended to be projected onto pale coloured walls (preferably white) or illuminate specific areas of interest in a room.
The remote control is very sophisticated.

Very cool lights!
I got this lamp on Black Friday deals. It now sits behind my tv and rotates through the colours over 30 minutes. Gives a lovely ambient colour.
