Don't waste any more time!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Philips HR2737 Citrus Press (Kitchen & Home)
Get this device straight away. It 's a really wonderful gadget. It's so easy to use, an absolutre breeze to clean; simple in construction, sturdy, apparently unbreakable, even at the crack of dawn when we're not at our best! I looked at much more expensive juicers for a long time, finally realizing that we're really only interestd in citrus juice - oranges actually. So there was no point in spending £90 or so on a device which would occupy a disproportionately large space on the work-top, and would probably entail peeling oranges - a hideous chore best avoided! We keep oranges in the fridge, and find that one medium sized orange yields about half a small tumbler of juice, which is nicely chilled, and absolutely delicious!

Outstanding value for a good quality product. What the spec doesn't say is that it features a bi-directional motor just as competing products do but it is not dishwasher safe. If, like me just want to make orange or grapefruit juice then this fits the bill just fine

The juicer can be used for any citrus fruit (oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes etc etc). Simply half the fruit, place segment over juicer and press down which starts the juicer rotating (taking pressure off, stops the juicer). The juice collects in the reservoir below. The device switches between clockwise and anti-clockwise directions to squeeze more juice out of each segment.
I bought one for myself 12 months ago and now have purchased 6 more as gifts for family and friends (including my 85 year old grandmother). Cheap to buy, easy to use, easy to clean and looks good. You can pay six times as much and not buy as good a juicer. Well done Philips.
