I have had this phone now for around a year and have been dissapointed from the start.
It does look good but is very light and feels cheaply made. The functions are also dissapointing, you can fill the address book with numbers but if any of them ring you, the phone doesn't show the caller id. Not a major problem but coupled with the answer machine not being reliable and the phone ringing off before you can answer it (no setting to increase rings)you end up missing calls all the time. The phone has been responsible for people being ignored because they keep leaving messages that we never see, very frustrating.
I really like Philips as a brand but please steer clear of this one, it's a let down.

I bought this phone on the strength of the positive reviews, but I think I must be missing something!
Design & construction: Cheap & nasty. The plastic looks really cheap and it feels really flimsy in your hand. It doesn't look like it will last long. 'Stylish'? Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose but it looks a lot less slick in real life than it does in the photos.
Functions: Strangely although it boasts loads more functions than the cheap 5 year old phone it replaced, it lacks some of the most basic ones.
Performance: Sound quality is really poor. There is constant hissing in the background when you are using the phone.
To be honest I probably should've just sent it back, but I work from home and had to buy it in a hurry after our old phone died. I can't afford to be without a phone, so I've just put up with it. It remains to be seen how long it'll be before I give in and buy a replacement.

Very easy to set up and simple to customise options. It looks great, the whole unit has a very sleek design - small and neat and the blue light of the answerphone looks cool.
Very impressed with this phone and the answerphone, had it for a couple of months and no problems so far.

Looks alright and mostly does what it claims. However:
