Pulse function

You can choose the pulse button to speed up the action if you want to get a quick result. When you turn the control knob to the pulse setting, the appliance will run at its highest speed as long as you keep the knob in this position. Simply match the colour of the speed with the colour of the accessory for optimised results. The colour of a certain tool is linked to the optimal application speed on the speed knob, e.g. for using the kneading tool (yellow) select speed one (yellow).

The Philips HR7772 food processor has an XL feeding tube that takes whole fruits and vegetables, so you shouldn't need to pre-cut them. So get started now: just wash the fruit or vegetable and feed it right into the processor without cutting it up.

Processing very hard ingredients

Do not process very hard ingredients such as bones and fruit with stones in this food processor. However, you can process fairly hard ingredients like fruits, vegetables, cheese and chocolate.

Let hot ingredients cool down to approximately 80°C before processing them.

Six accessories to easily perform 30+ functions

This food processors comes with six accessories for different kinds of processing. These accessories are all dishwasher-safe.

1. Kneading knife attachment

For mixing batter and for heavy kneading use the kneading tool. It is intended for all kinds of bread dough.

2. Chopping knife attachment

With this attachment you can chop fruits and vegetables to different sizes and thicknesses. The stainless steel chopping knife can also be used to prepare meat. Use the metal knife in combination with the pulse function to chop onions and other vegetables. For processing chocolate, use the chopping knife and not the shredding disc. Do not let the appliance run too long to avoid the chocolate starting to melt. We advise you do not grind turmeric, nutmeg or coffee beans in the blender or with the metal blade in the food processor, as it can damage the appliance.

3. Two metal slicing discs

The two metal discs are perfect for handling medium and fine shredding and grating. From julienne cut to thin slices, you can use any variation by trying the different options available on these metal discs.

4. Blender attachment

This food processor comes with a break-resistant blender that has a working capacity of 1.5 litres. You can use this blender for blending, crushing, foaming, grinding, puréeing, homogenising, liquidising, milling, shaking or stirring. You can also use the blender for puréeing and chopping. You can purée ingredients for gazpacho, hot soups, baby food and peanut butter. You can chop carrots for a carrot cake. You can chop ice cubes and coconut flesh. To clean the blender, fill it with a maximum of half a litre of water and activate the pulse function.

5. Balloon beater attachment

For whipping, whisking, mixing and emulsifying, use the balloon beater accessory. This balloon beater is for preparing food like whipped cream and mayonnaise.

Cord storage

This Philips food processor has a cord length of 120cm and it comes with a storage compartment--just push the mains cord in the cord storage compartment at the back of the appliance.

Crush ice in the blender

You can crush ice in the blender, but we do not recommend crushing ice in the chopping bowl, as the chopping knife may get blunt.
