Well worth the money. 21 July 2003
By Matiqua
This ice cream maker is pretty basic as another reviewer said, but it is perfect, if you just want to try your hand at ice cream making. I bought it on a sale and I was a bit disappointed by having to wait such a long time for the container to freeze between batches. Now I solved my problem buying a spare one, which was not so expensive as buying a machine with built in freeze engine and I can still set to work whenever I fancy.
It is really easy to use: first freeze the bowl, then prepare your ice cream mix, start the machine and pour it in, after 20 - 40 min. depending on the temperature of the mix, you'll have your super fresh and tasty ice cream!
There are some recipes included, but I suggest you buy an ice cream book to have more inputs. I bought "The Ultimate Ice Cream Book" by Bruce Weinstein and am totally satisfied with it.

Well, what else can I say? Easy to use, easy to clean and cheap, what could you ask more?

This ice-cream maker is very easy to use and is extremely good value. It is useful to buy a spare bowl, as the bowl needs to be kept in the freezer. The results are delicious. We have had our ice-cream maker for over a year now and had no problems. Would definitely recommend it.

Value for money 16 April 2003
This ice cream maker is an angel. It's so easy to use and it makes the kids happy. I've never had the option to make such exotic flavours. This machine beats most of the others by miles. Don't waist your money on more expensive ones unless you want to make a slightly bigger quantity.

Great little icecream maker!
Really pleased with this. Easy to use and clean, and not too big. I poured a pot of yoghurt (full fat) in to see what happened, and the result was delicious! Read more

Well worth buying this.
Ice cream makers often get a bad press with many people buying one on a whim and then it being left to gather dust at the back of a kitchen cupboard. Read more
