Great value, and Philips' usual good attention to build quality. This product is just fine, and does all that you need. Very easy to switch attachments, and easy to clean.

One criticism (which reduces my start rating to just 4 on this ocassion) -- the Whisk attachment is just much too fast, and there is really very little control over the speed. So, don't buy this product as a whisk. But do buy it as an invaluable chopper, blender, whizzer.

I make batters, soups, blend herbs with no trouble at all.

This replaced a Kenwood that I had for five years. No troubles with the Kenwood, although the plastic 'teeth' that allow the motor unit to attach to the different attachments finally wore out. Probably likely to happen with most of these products.

You really don't need a fancy stainless steel one of these - go for the 600W motor over stainless steel any day.

Jug has quite small quantity measures on the sides, but has a really useful lid.

I've owned one of these for over a year and I use it almost daily. The blender along with the beaker are great for whipping up a quick smoothie with minimal washing-up required! Do note though that the beaker isn't made of very good quality plastic and scratches/cracks quite easily. The blender is easy to control but the power-cord could really do with being 30cm longer as it doesn't give you much freedom of movement. The whisk accessory is great and makes swift work of whipping cream or egg whites. The chopper accessory is good at its job, but, the gasket inside the lid of the chopper where the rotating shaft meets the lid is composed of very thing plastic. I found after a few months of regular use, this started to break down and so the shaft didn't sit very well anymore and eventually this accessory became unusable. That doesn't matter though - the blender itself can do the same job as the chopper really, just not as quickly. All in all, a good purchase and (aside from the chopper), very durable and long-lasting. The blue/white colour combination is a bit naff I thought - not the kind of thing you want to have out on display so it ends up hidden in a drawer and the flex gets tangled.

i got this to puree food for a toddler when starting to introduce foods, and was reluctant to spend the money when it was only for that, but i discovered loads of uses for it and i use it for everything, to making stuffing, cheesecakes, beating eggs and loads of other things, so for me it was really worth the money. it is also very powerful and easy cleaned, just pop everything in the dishwasher. Excellent value for money.

I bought Philips hand blender for pureeing food for my 6 mts baby.It does the job right but the only thing that the plastic gets stained from the carots and doesn't come out and the food processor is small but ok if just started weaning. All in all I'm pleased I bought it, makes life easy for me and also it is a good quality product.

Bought as a present a year ago. Does the job extremely well, not too noisy and blades have kept their sharpness well. Good value.
