I bought this to replace an old tefal which had started to wear out.
Having had Philips toasters in the past I had resonable hopes this would be as good.
Wrong!
Described as cool wall - gets very hot very quickly.
Single slice toasting - impossible to do in any slot, one side will burn abd the other stay raw. The same applies if you toast three slices, the slice on it's own does not cook evenly.
For a new model it's also not quite a big enough slot to put a big slice in without having an untoasted strip at one end.
If you put a second lot of bread in after toasting one the second will burn.
Having tried it for a week it's gone back to Amazon and I've ordered a DeLonghi - initiaq thoughts on that - no better.
I'm sure it cannot be impossible to make a toaster that actually works - but it does seem to be at the moment...
