Fulfil all your music needs with this MP3 Mini Hi-Fi System which features Philips' MAX Sound for instant powerful boost plus the freedom to savour 30 hours of your favourite MP3-CD music.

MAX Sound technology produces an instant boost in bass, maximises volume performance, and instantly creates the most impressive listening experience with just a touch of the MAX Sound button. The MAX Sound electronic circuitry calibrates the existing sound and volume setting, and instantly boosts bass and volume to a maximum level without distortion. Both sound spectrum and volume get noticeably amplified, creating a potent audio boost that will add mileage to any music. MAX Sound lets you get the most from your audio system without having to alter complicated equaliser settings.

Dynamic Bass Boost maximises your music enjoyment by emphasising the bass content of the music throughout the range of volume settings - from low to high at the touch of a button! Bottom-end bass frequencies usually get lost when the volume is set at a low level. To counteract this, Dynamic Bass Boost can be switched on to boost bass levels, so you can enjoy consistent sound even when you turn down the volume.

Digital Sound Control lets you select from pre-set modes that control the frequency bands of sound to optimise certain musical styles. You can chose between different sound settings - Optimal, Jazz, Rock, Techno, Pop or Classic. Each mode uses graphic equalising technology to automatically adjust the sound balance and enhance the most important sound frequencies in your chosen music style. Digital Sound Control lets you get the most out of your music by adjusting the sound balance to match the music type you are playing.

Virtual Ambience Control (VAC) creates a virtual sound environment in which the listener can experience music as it would sound in various simulated sound settings. VAC sound settings digitally mimic the acoustical effects that are characteristic of special rooms and environments such as Hall, Cinema, Arcade, Concert, Disco, and Cyber. By recreating the sound ambience of different environments and settings, VAC dramatically enhances enjoyment of your favourite

    This sytem has it all, MAX sound, DSC, DBB, VEC, and more. The sound and volume are amazing, especially given the low price-tag! You really cannot go wrong with this system, it is slightly larger than your average Mini Hi-Fi, but it looks stylish, modern, and looks more expensive than what it is. I would say this Hi-Fi is best suited for the larger living-room!, given the BASS output, (as my neighbours have informed me!). This system is a definate must for anyone who likes their music LOUD!

    This system has it all. MAX sound, DSC, DBB, VEC, and more! The sound and volume are amazing. It also has the AUX mode to maximize the sound of your TV! You really cannot go wrong with this Hi-Fi, especially given the low price, its great. It looks stylish, modern, and looks more expensive than what it is. I would say this system is suitable for the larger living room, given the BASS output, (as my neighbours have informed me!). A definate must for anyone who likes their music LOUD!.

    This hi-fi roars out music like a tiger. Its meaty frame supports over 120watts of roaring bass. Feel the vibrations under your feet and hear sounds on your tracks that you didn't even know they were possible. All this is possible from one touch of the MAX SOUND button. Even when the volume is low you can truly appreciate your tracks. Truly elegant and has its own style. If you love your music loud or even at subtle frequencies this is for you. You cannot go wrong here. TRUST ME YOU WON'T REGRET IT! ;)
