This is an excellent iron to use. There is a 3m cord the iron is not too heavy and comfortable to use it reaches even the highest temperature very quickly, the energy saving feature is very clever, while in use each time you put the iron down to turn or fold clothes the steam output radically reduces, but as soon as you resume ironing steam output reaches maximum,this is all due to a sensor in the handle.there is a double cleaning function an anti calc tablet is in the water tank which never needs replacing and an anti calc cleaning function. If you are ironing clothes on the lowest temperature without steam there is no dripping water from the bottom of the iron as I have experienced with other irons. There is an automatic shutoff feature so if the iron is not moved, after a certain amount of time it shuts off when you pick it up again it resumes working and reheats to the set temperature automatically.There is also a concentrated steam boost button for stubborn creases, although if you are ironing an item that is heavily creased most people doing that tend to press down harder with the iron then due to the sensor in the handle the optimum amount of steam is produced. I found the steam boost button handy for vertical steaming. The spray function is also useful for delicates where you do not use steam.
This is an excellent iron with lots of features that are extremely useful. I highly recommend this iron.

This iron is excellent and actually makes ironing a pleasure - honest! We've had it a month and we highly recommend it.
Some great features are - its long cord, large water container with wide hole and cover for easy filling and overflow protection, strong stable base (hard to tip over), strong and quite heavy design - which enhances performance and its really comfortable hand grip with very efficient steam control with flexible booster.
This iron has saved our family so much time and effort.
It's fantastic for putting creases into uniforms or taking creases out of sheets / shirts etc and you can get away with ironing jeans on one side if you wish!
My husband and I love it and we are actually keeping free from those dreaded ironing piles which says something with our 2 teenagers still at home!

This feels quite classy and light compared to my old Philips iron. It is well-balanced as it glides over clothes, exuberantly steamy and almost nippy in its response (move over Jeremy Clarkson!). Its SteamGlide soleplate is matt metallic, non-stick. It has 'auto steam control' which reduces wasted steam and saves energy. It says this means you use 100% of the steam power to remove creases thoroughly, and it certainly did that. It also has a non-drip system, a CalcClean function for flushing out hardwater deposits, and an 'extra long' 3 metre cord.
The only quibble I have is its trimmings - a muddy lime green handle, and mustard yellow buttons, perhaps to remind you of its eco-credentials, but reminding me more of a 1950s kitchen. You might want to consider the one that comes in blue!

Very Pleased
