After looking for a small stereo that gives me everything i want i stumbled across a review for this one. Well i bought it a lot cheaper on AMAZON and it hasn't disappointed it is brilliant for our needs and it was fantastic value. It does everything well,plays the ipod while charging at the same time the sound quality is great upto level 12 which is well loud enough anything over that it gets slightly distorted but then if i wanted a big noise i would have bought a big stereo.

I agree with other reviewers. It is a good small system that needs to played at low volume as it does distort especially with DBB switched on. I got it from Asda for £70 not sure I would pay £115 though. Still it looks good on the wall in my conservatory and does the job.

I was looking for a CD/Radio/Ipod device within a budget.
Philips have a pretty good name and I did do a lot of looking around prior to purchase.
The unit feels cheap and nasty, the sound quality is tinny and my main gripe with the unit
is that it has a piece of wire for an ariel which is next to useless making it practically
impossible to listen to radio unless you hold the wire in your hand.
Don't go near this product with a barge pole!!
