Setting up any new equipment can be frustrating, but it should not be so.
In the instruction booklet and the quick start guide received with this phone many references are made to the (OK) button, which you need for every input made. The problem is that there is no diagram or indication anywhere in their instructions as to which button is actually the (OK) button.
Luckily just before the phone went out of the window I realised that the (OK) button is listed as 15. So why don't Philips just write the letters OK for button 15.
Too easy I suppose but you wonder about their product checking methods.

Arrived very quickly. Well packaged. Nice style. Other people's comments about programming the phones being difficult were unfounded. Was very easy. You can set them up differently, one phone, downstairs, is set to ring out loud with keypad sounds also, whereas the upstairs phone is set to silent with no keypad tones. The only downside, the sound quality is a bit muffled, but considering the price, i am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this phone with the express purpose of using it hands free.
Not good. Microphone does not pick up my voice unless I am right next to it. And the Speaker is not clear.
It works as an ordinary phone but the straight up and down design is very awkward to use.

Item returned to seller.
Telephones were described by Philips as having the base phone being capable to be wall mounted. This was not the case as the base unit could not be wall mounted. Read more
