Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

The outstanding speakerphone brings the CD2 series to the center of family life. Thanks to the sound level boost, conversations can really be shared with everyone around. The digital sound offers overall better dynamic range and more clarity. Handsfree mode uses a built-in loud speaker to amplify the voice of the caller, allowing you to speak and listen during a call without holding the phone to your ear. This is especially useful if you want to share the call with others or take notes during a call.

    Totally unreliable 23 Dec 2009
    By C. Bird
Don't, whatever you do, buy these phones. The first lot I had failed under warranty and, after an argument, were replaced by Amazon. The replacement lot failed after 14 months - neatly out of warranty. I'm now off to buy a phone from a company that can perhaps produce a more reliable product than Phillips do.

    Great Purchase 19 April 2009
I've had Philips phones before & always been pleased with them so thought I'd give these a go. The only concern I had was that they seemed cheap & I thought that may mean they were rubbish.

I needn't have worried. They work well, the handsets are light but big enough to be able to use the controls without pushing the wrong buttons & the sound quality & range is good.

The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that each handset has an independent address book. This would be good if you had 3 people in the family wanting completely different contacts saved. I wanted the same address book to be available on every handset so I had to input all the numbers on each one individually. It took hours!

Worked fine for a while but stopped working (couldn't dial out or take calls) long before I would have expected & just out of guarantee. Not very impressed.
