I wanted an answer machine where you can access it via the base station rather than fiddle about via the handset. I thought this was it. However, the base station does not display the number of messages you have got, there is just a light. Once you have heard a message if you want to hear a previous message you have to press a back button within one second of pressing another button, if you are slower than one second it repeats the latest message. The result is you can easily miss messages. I can't get the hang of it and the machine is going back.

I bought this phone in July 08 it only lasted until Nov when the answer machine stopped work, think me crazy but I had the same phone as a replacement. I am now looking for a replacement. The second lasted slightly longer until Nov 09.

I bought this phone in June '08 and immediately I didn't like it- the volume is very quiet and you can hardly hear the person on the other end of the line, even when the volume is at its highest. You also have to key in every telephone number twice as you need to enter them into each phone separately.
I thought that the phone would have lasted a while, although it doesn't work at all anymore and only displays 'searching'. I have had someone look at them, but apparently they can't be fixed as the basestation is broken. Grrrr! So, if you want a phone to last long term, (and longer that 10 months) don't buy this phone! I'm very disappointed.

Not as good as I'd hoped...

Good while it lasts

Don't buy it
Definetely not as good as it looks. The answering machine is absolutely inaudible. Doesn't do the job. Avoid it.
