After my disaster with the Tefal Actifry catching fire just out of guarantee, I'd be interested to see how confident Philips are in their product. If it comes with at least a 3 year guarantee, I might actually be tempted. Certainly never going to give Tefal a penny of my money ever again after they treated me so abysmally when the Actifry caught fire so nice to see that Philips are making a similar machine. The concept is brilliant - let's hope the build quality of the machine is better than Tefal's, it certainly couldn't be any worse.
Hope to see some reviews soon when it goes on general sale.
The new Philips Airfryer will come with a 2 year product and parts guarantee. We received our first review on Amazon yesterday so we do hope you'll take a look, you can also find more information and recipes on www.philips.co.uk/kitchen Philips are also so confident that you'll love the Airfryer that it comes with a 60 day complete satisfaction money back guarantee
My actifry has now caught fire twice - when I say caught fire there were flames coming out of the rear filling my kitchen with acrid smoke and setting off the fire alarm. Tefal says its not a fire, and just smokes as it overheats! They then go on to say they treat customer safety and satisfaction seriously. Really? Any comments as what can be done with the product now the warranty has expired would be appreciated
Hi Alisa. The 60 day money back guarantee is still running. The information regarding how to return your product if you are not happy is in the box when you receive the product. We hope you enjoy airfrying Warm Regards, The Philips Kitchen
