I bought this player for my daughter who turned 8 on 9th of December as her birthday gift. I did not buy it in a hurry but did some research before deciding to go for this particular model. I was pleasently surprised to find out that this player has a very clean sound and is not as harsh sounding as some other branded boomboxes in the market. As long as the volume is set at 75 percent or about 25 on the LCD panel you need not worry about anything. This player is not for bass junkies. This model is sold as 1575 in the asian market so this review applies to both models as they are identical.
