The Philips AVENT Digital Bottle and Baby Food Warmer makes it easy to warm baby’s feeds quickly and safely. The digital technology automatically calculates the warming time. Just select whether you are warming milk or food, the quantity and whether the contents are coming from the fridge or freezer and let the Bottle Warmer do the rest. The technology calculates the warming time to heat your baby's feed gently and evenly. An easy-to-use digital display with audible signal keeps you informed throughout the warming cycle. The ultra fast function warms 125 ml/4 oz milk at room temperature in under two minutes. Ideal for milk and baby food from the fridge, freezer or at room temperature. Automatic shut-off means no risk of overheating. All AVENT bottles, VIA cups and baby food jars will fit in the warmer.

This warmer is really handy and saves the worry about the temperature, but there are a few things they could improve on: First - you cannot operate this whilst holding a baby! A bit of a problem if you have a screaming hungry baby and are home alone. You have to hold the unit with one hand whilst pushing the buttons - hard.
Secondly - When you need to empty the old water you have to unplug it from the wall and take the unit - plus cable and plug to the sink - a little dangerous. Why don't they keep the cable the same as the one on their steriliser, where you unplug the cable from the unit.
Apart from those two problems the product does make life easier, lets hope Philips read this review and consider these improvements, it will then be worth 5 stars!

Very good product although a few improvements could be made.
Firstly, it is quite dangerous and very inconvenient to have to unplug the whole unit in order to empty the used water into the sink before measuring and re-filling the unit with the correct amount of water for the next use. It would be much better if there was a connector to the unit which could be pulled out so that the plug and wire does not have to be taken to the sink with the unit.
Secondly, the cord on the plug is not very long, this could definitely do with another few inches on it.
Thirdly (and lastly) the buttons on the unit are quite hard to press (and you have to press and hold the buttons to start it), you cannot press the buttons when holding anything (including a baby) as you have to hold the unit with one hand and press the buttons hard with the other.
Regardless of the above imperfections, the product is great and I would not be without it. It warms the milk to the correct temperature and does it quickly. It also warms milk from room temperature, fridge temp and from frozen so there are plenty of settings and uses for it.

really helpful bottle warmer, previously used the tommee tippee, which is good, but has not got an auto shut off (really great feature if you are in a hurry and may forget to switch off the unit..). the temp seems to be just right, depends on your preference,only problem is it takes avent bottles only ?, generally would recommend

Does what it says.
Great for warming up bottles to appropriate temperature. No need to worry about it being too hot. Not used it to heat food yet so not sure how good that function will be. Read more
