We bought one of these 2 years ago when I had my first baby and found it so useful that we bought another very quickly. I have now used mine for my second baby as wel - who moved onto cow's milk this week. Overall they have both been in constant use for 2 years and I have never in all that time had any powder leak from one compartment to the other. In fact that was my original concern so I tested carefully when I got them. They are also well made and have survived being dropped numerous times, as well as chewed by babies etc.
We used these powder dispensers all the time, whether at home or out and about. It removed the chance of error when half asleep at 4am, or for grandparents or babysitters! Each compartment will take 7 scoops easily. It is possible to fit an eighth scoop in so long as you tap the container first to settle the powder. We used to leave these to airdry for a few hours before use - they would not be that easy to dry off with a tea towel due to the shape. I would advise using the bottle brush on the lid cap. We had two dispensers so that there was always one available with powder in.
We found that sterilising bottles once a day and filling them with preset amounts of boiled water and having the milk powder dispensers made life very much more convenient. I would recommend these to anyone.

Whilst this is a great idea this new design is not as good as the old one- I've used several of these and they have all leaked the powder into the other compartments. They're also very difficult to thoroughly dry out and moisture in the corners and along the edges means powder gets stuck at the bottom. The old design which was all in one piece was much better, if you can find it. Instead I would recommend individual portion pots which can be screwed together for several portions or separated if you just need to take out one (ie. the Bibi Formula Milk Dispenser).

I completely agree with the other reviewers on here who have given this a poor review. The powder leaks between the 3 areas, the lid is really difficult to put on properly and after putting it in the steriliser (even after leaving it over night) it still has moisture left in it. With a 4 month old baby this is the last thing that you need as it adds hassle to your life when you already have your hands full! I bought the Mothercare own brand version in the end and it's much, much better.
