The AVENT Must-Haves bag contains four travel-sized bath & body products in a zipped mesh wash bag. They are sensibly chosen to be things that you could and probably would use in pregnancy in handy sized containers suitable to put in your hospital bag. The scents are pleasant and fresh and the products all felt nice to use (according to my wife!).
AVENT is a trusted name in mother and baby care and we have several Philips AVENT products since becoming parents. These products claim to be hypoallergenic and undoubtedly some thought has gone into the selection to make sure they are suitable for use during pregnancy.
However there are several aspects of this selection and their packaging that are less than ideal. Firstly, the travel wash bag is a nice item to package these products in and, I assume, mesh was chosen so that the items could dry out if placed in a bathroom. But if I was packing for the hospital I'd be concerned that if anything leaked it would go straight through onto clothing or whatever else you were taking.
Secondly, while I fully admit that there's no strong evidence against the use of parabens in cosmetics, I prefer to err on the side of caution especially when dealing with pregnancy. They are to be found in the Indulgent Body Cream and Leg & Foot Reviver. That is a matter for informed choice but you have too look hard in the tag text to find the ingredients of these products.
Thirdly, this is marketed as a `must have' kit which, I feel, is a bit of a stretch. Ironically, the only must-have item as far as my wife's experience goes is the Moisturising Light Oil which helps reduce stretch marks & the dry skin of pregnancy. Beyond that, a shower gel, a moisturizer and a foot & leg cream are hardly exclusive to pregnancy and you've probably got them already.

This product was ordered for a friend, however it just came in a crushed box on delivery with no travel pouch included as noted in the product feature!!! Not really happy with the overall product. It is only ok as a little gift.

For mothers-to-be this is a lovely gift (or just treat yourself!). The shower gel smells lovely and the foot reviver is just the thing for sore feet at the end of the day.
The pack of four bottles is small and will easily fit in a travel bag. Avent are a quality brand and all of the products are tested safe for when pregnant and afterwards. If breast feeding it is nice to know that these products are tested as safe for you and your baby.

OK as a gift
Avent products are good quality. Bought this as a gift for sister in law, thought it looked bit cheap skate when it arrived so ended up having to buy something else as well.

I am very satisfied with Avent Future Mother Must Haves set. I admire the oil and the antistress gel the most. I would recommend this set for all mothers to be.
