looks good, has a choice of 2 volumes of alarm, both almost inaudible. To alter any of the controls you need small and careful fingers. Not designed with any thought as to its use. But lloks good!

Definitely style over substance. It looks good - and that is the only positive thing to say about this item. Shame on you Philips, this item is not worth the money. I don't know how it passed your testing stage. The radio sound is awful and you can hear the "buzz alarm" over the radio - WHY??? If I wanted the buzz I would choose that option - who wants both!!!! Worst clock radio I have ever purchased.

The buzzer comes on in the background when the alarm is set to radio. Philips are aware of this and it is one of the FAQs on their website. They advise re-tuning to another station as a "fix". This is absolute nonsense and shows what Philips think of their customers. Also, the tuner is very poor and a tiny movement of the dial can skip through a number of stations.

waste time and money
Looks cooland slick BUT you can hear a faint buzer alarm at the same time your radio alarm is playing and it won.t switch off.and the controls are very fiddley. Amen.

Looks good but has a number of irritations. The display is very bright with no way of dimming it down so is quite intrusive. Read more

Be careful - battery backup is suspect
I purchased this alarm clock about a year ago from Amazon and unfortunately did not test the battery backup within the return period, and later found out it did not work. Read more

great multi purpose alarm
Great radio alarm clock. Very speedy delivery. Great that has 2 separate alarms that can be set, with option of beep/ radio / auxillary functions to wake you up! Looks good too.
