DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) digital radio is, on top of FM analogue transmission, a new way of broadcasting radio via a network of terrestrial transmitters. It provides listeners with more choices and information delivered in crystal clear, crackle-free sound quality. The technology allows the receiver to lock on to the strongest signal it can find. With DAB digital stations there are no frequencies to remember, and sets are tuned by station name, so there is no returning on the move.

I love this product, it has made me like radio again! It's compact and really clear sound with no problems and simple to use interface it's perfect for sitting outside in the sun enjoying some good music. The battery life is great so dont be put off by the 6 batteries it needs because they last for months and months
The only thing about this is it's weight. It's so heavy!! I think this is the same for many dab's but for its size it is quite heavy but nothing to stop you buying this. It's simple, affordable and good quality. I would really recommend this to everyone!

I am well impressed with this superb little DAB radio from Phillips. The item is very attractive, easy to operate and has crystal clear sound. It also receives most of the digital stations available. If you want an excellent DAB radio for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend this particular model from Phillips. Enjoy!

Found this on line at amazon - best of a bad lot if you ask me - all DAB radios seem like they are stuck in a time warp ! Anyway very happy with the choice and works fine - nice white look matches the ipod theme. The wife who i bought it for was surprised that the handle is solid (ie..doesnt move) so thats the only comment i can feed back.
