This affordable widescreen packs good picture quality and stereo sound quality into a medium-sized 28" or larger 32"inch screen size. Philips TV picture tube with invar mask gives less deformation and therefore can provide 80% more contrast than conventional picture tubes for brilliant colours and minimal reflections, even when viewing in daylight.This superflat tube gives a flatter surface for an improved TV design. The Black Line FX Tube has Highly Pigmented Phosphors that give a better contrast, especially in daylight viewing.
Scavem is an innovative circuit design to enhance edge details by varying the speed of the electron beam, providing a sharp and crisp picture.
A special circuitry has been incorporated into this receiver to enhance the darker portions of the picture for added realism and overall picture quality.
With Continuous Zoom you are able to expand the picture from 4:3 to 16:9 in many steps so the user can select the best aspect ratio for the material being viewed.
Incredible Surround widens the stereo sound signal offering a surround sound experience. A radio is included inside the TV, capable of stereo sound (in stereo TV's) and storage of up to 40 FM Radio stations. On screen naming of all these stations is also possible for easy navigation.
