What a lovely bedroom TV - elegant and superb picture quality. Already have a 32" Philips and very happy with that, so naturally have a preference for Philips when looking for a bedroom TV. Picked it up from Amazon and a very competitive price and delivery was quick. Setting up the TV is simple, but you have to know your way around all the feature settings. Make sure you get the digital picture and suround sound. You also need to knock of some of the defaults otherwise you'll be listening to a background commentary. Superb picture which looks the TV bigger when viewing. Only niggle is the programme info which shows the programme title in blue - who can see that at night. Otherwise, very happy. So look for a good price and go for it!

Having had to return a similar, albeit cheaper Sharp, which was awful, I looked carefully at a bank of 22" LEDs on display in a major store and none of the others compared to this Philips - so I went for it. Without any enhancement from Sky, HD, or Blue-Ray the picture is brilliant and the sound much better than expected (perhaps because it's not as skinny and lightweight as other LEDs). Some of the on-screen displays and navigation are unusual and, in my opinion, inferior. Plus one more niggle - on its (a bit flimsy) stand it irritatingly tilts very slightly downward - as did the display model in the store. If the tilt was upward, because it's below eye level on a kitchen worktop I would have awarded the five stars with honours. But it's still five without them!

I purchased this tv from Amazon in december 2010 following good reviews of Philips tv's elsewhere. The Tv has adjustable sound which is important for smaller TV' as they can sound really tinny.The picture is very good , sharp and clear.
The tv itself is smart and well designed.
My only real concern is the instruction manual or rather lack of it, it is very basic and if you do not now how to set the tv up then you may struggle. Otherwise I would recomend this tv.

Menu too dark
Bought this for our conservatory great picture but when you put the tv guide on it is black and very hard to see. If you could change the colour it would make it alot clearer.
