I have had this hairdryer for a while now and am still so happy with it. hairdryers i have owned in the past have not lasted long, and have often over-heated and practically exploded after a couple of weeks or months! this hairdryer has never given out, and i love the power behind it. also has a few heat settings, which is really good too. overall a really great hairdryer that i would recommend!

I purchased this for my wife who is used to a basic dryer. She found it a bit daunting with all the different settings. After using it for a few weeks she is now using it with more confidence. In all a very good dryer and would recomend it.
This is, indeed, a lightweight, quiet hairdryer, the body of which doesn't heat up. Philips are very proud of that. However, what they fail to mention, is that by keeping the dryer cool they put an extra couple of vents in the nozzle, so that when you're drying your hair using a brush, you end up burning your hand because it blows down as well as straight out. Shame. Perhaps they could supply an oven mitt in the pack in future?
