    I was initally very pleased with this TV. Very good picture quality and the DVD player is easy to use. However I am now returning it for a refund as the DVD player no longer works - after about 3 hours use! Looking at other comments, I am not alone in experiencing this problem. I spoke to the Philips helpdesk today and they claim to not know that there is a problem with this model!

    I had the same experience. The DVD failed on the first day - my DVD got stuck inside. Amazon replaced it - but the DVD failed on that one too - and another DVD was lost.

    This item does not warrant the single star alloted to it. After one week, the DVD ceased to function, and a replacement was supplied promptly by Amazon. That, too, failed within two days, and a refund is now being claimed. Very disappointed.

    TV is great but DVD stopped working after 3 or 4 times of use But, good old Amazon allowed me to return it for credit.

    It is a pity the DVD failed because the TV is excellant.
