Offers both Contrast Plus for a more focused picture with additional contrast and Incredible Surround sound with two built-in speakers for better sound. A good choice for those looking for slightly more features in a small TV. Top handle makes it easy to move around the house. Now complete with FM Radio.

Product Highlights
Black Hibri - TV tube technology used for all Philips 14" TV's giving good colour reproduction on the smaller sets.
Contrast Plus - A special electronic circuit has been incorporated into this television to enhance the darker portions of the picture for added realism and improved picture quality.
Incredible Surround - Incredible Surround widens the stereo sound signal offering a surround sound experience.
Smart Listening - This is the combination of Delta Volume and Automatic Volume Limiter. The former avoids undesirable changes in volume, caused by the different sound settings of different programmes. The latter avoids the rapid increase in volume which can happen in the case of different commercials.
FM Radio- A radio is included inside the TV, capable of stereo sound (in stereo TV's) and storage of up to 40 FM
Radio stations. On screen naming of all these stations is also possible for easy navigation.
Plug & Play - Having connected the TV,, it automatically searches for all channels and installs them.
10 Page Smart Text - Fast access to your own programmed favourite text pages.
Front Connections - Connections for headphone and other inputs such as camcorder, front entry for ease of use.
Full NTSC Playback- The TV can be used to watch NTSC material (eg American video tapes), when connected via SCART to a video recorder.
Handgrip - On the top of the TV a handgrip is provided for easy portability

    This TV is a very good buy. The features are excellent, especially the surround sound. When I bought it, I was looking for a good quality portable television. This is exactly what I got. I think you should defianatly buy this tele, as you will NOT be disssapointed with what you get!!

    This excellent television was dispatched by Amazon on Monday evening and I received it very early Tuesday morning. I switched it on and within two minutes, it had tuned in all the TV programmes automatically. The sound and picture are both superb quality for a portable TV and the list if features is very impressive.NSTC playback is a handy feature as my son wanted to play Region 1 DVD's on his Playstation 2. Superb buy and I would recommend everyone to pay a little extra money for the extra quality.

    A good quality set, wider than some other 14" TVs due to the stereo speakers on either side of the screen. Pity that the connectors at the front of the screen weren't hidden by a small panel - they detract from the set.

    Picture is good, with rich colours. Oddly, it takes 10 or 15 seconds to react to being turned on - you're not sure you've turned it on. The FM radio does the job very nicely, and means you don't need a radio and a TV.

    The much touted enhanced stereo mode I found to be very disconcerting and not pleasant to listen to, but perhaps that's just me. The standard stereo is more "normal". The set also allows for "Enhanced 4:3" to get rid of the black bars at the top of widescreen transmissions.

    All in all, a TV with those extra features to set it apart from the normal cheaper 14" TVs.
