I love quality watches and own some of the best (Blancpain, Breitling, Omega etc.) whilst costing dramatically less than some of my watches, I would class it as one of the best built and most beautiful in my collection.

Although very chunky, it has the style and class of a fine limousine. The enormously thick sapphire crystal bends the light and looks and feels great. The dial is wonderful with different levels and chunky Arabic numerals and marque badges - note, I like the silver dial's classy, timeless look, but buy the black version if your eyesight isn't good as the silver hands can be unclear at times.

The back, secured with traditional screws, has a beveled window allowing one to see the rotor. The crown is decorated with a highly unusual colourless cabochon sapphire and is secured for swimming (100m being ok for water sports but not diving) with a short throw screw down system although the chronograph buttons are not screwed.

The strap with real alligator leather and deployant catch is not one of my favourite designs - I am disabled and find it overly difficult to close - and I now wear it on a German waterproof leather strap ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009YK2HBM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).

The rotor is able to cope with my sedentary life style and accuracy is very good. Although not quite on a par with my Breitling chronometer, it is much better than my Blancpain which costs roughly 45 times as much!

Altogether a classy watch at a bargain price.

A litle bit heavy case but overall is been a great choice. It is really accurate for an automatik watch.
