Damn! Wish I'd seen the other low reviews for this product. As with others, had wanted to boost the lousy signal in our bedroom. Plugged this little number in and went from poor reception to ZERO reception. As an experiment, thought I'd see how it would sound if I literally positioned the aerial by the window (I live in Central London!) and got diddly squat. I think you'd have to work hard to create a product as rubbish as this. Since I chucked away the packaging, I'm now going to stick it on top of my car and pretend I'm an undercover detective. Very poor. De-list. And definitely don't buy.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Having been able to receive a decent signal on my pure DAB radio I decided to buy this product to improve the signal on my Sony Hi-fi. Well after having an average signal on the sony wire aeriel, this product could not find any signal and needed to be moved constanly to find only weak reception, so decided to stick with the Sony wire aeriel....don't waste your money!

I had an old Sony Giga Juke with DAB radio which since I bought it could never get any decent DAB reception whatsoever. I tried many different alternatives to obtain a signal. As a last resort (other than fitting an external aerial) I bought one of these amplified internal aerials and, hey presto, I now receive a good signal and can pick up 32 stations all with a pretty good signal. This has rescued my Giga Juke to being the fully functional piece of equipment I intended it to be.

Philex - 27742R - Indoor Amplified DAB Aerial works!
It makes a big difference to have the extra length of cable of the 27742R. I was able to find a better signal - albeit outside the window (aerial balanced on the window frame). Read more

1 star since zero is not an option!
This ariel simply does not work. I had good BBC DAB reception but the Classic channel was a bit dodgy using the supplied "ribbon ariel" with my Yamaha microsystem. Read more

Looks good but....
I ordered this aerial to boost my DAB signal and with the aerial connected, I suddenly had no signal at all. I will be returning it.
