This is a good quality cable CAI and digital approved. Slightly less than 7mm external diameter. Double screened with an outer copper braid over a copper foil, there is rigid foam insulation over the centre single core conductor. I have never liked foam insulation as in the past I have found that they allow water to seep in, however this one is high density and seems water resistant. The cable is quite stiff but for high frequency or satellite installations tight bends should not be used so this is no problem. I have not measured the transmission loss but used the whole 25 metres between an LNB and a sky digital box this gave good signal strength despite leaving much of the cable still coiled (not good practice)

I was surprised at the speed of delivery and the communication was good too. This is Black Cable, which I wanted to replace existing TV Aerial cable. So far I have only replaced a 10-ft length from the masthead to the booster, but it's already delivered additional channels (eg ITV). Easy to use, but watch out not to get the plastic backing between layers between the copper elements when installing. I used with standard connectors (rather than F-Type/Sky) without difficulty. Very good price too!
