Bought this directly from Amazon. It's ok but I certainly wouldn't call it "deluxe". I've seen much nicer looking stuff in the shops here (in France) but to be fair at a much higher price per meter. It's not really black, more a very dark grey, and it's not glossy as the picture shows. It's ideal for hiding away behind a desk - it does the job perfectly well - but I wanted it to disguise the cables coming out of my TV and running down the front of an oak pillar... for this purpose I should have spent more on a more aesthetically pleasing product and will have to now anyway. Still, I'll keep this Philex product for when I tidy up the mass of cables under my desk where it won't be seen.

This product has made a huge improvement to the cable spaghetti behind my TV which was very visible
at times.
The cable insertion tool seems a little flimsy but it is a simple matter of putting the spring ends back in the recesses when they pop out, to make sure that the tool remains in one piece. Once you have installed the cable tidy you are unlikely to need the tool again.
An excellent product well worth the price.

I ordered this 'cause I've used this sort of cable sheath before. The sheaths that come with this pack are great. However the tool that is supplied to insert cables into the sheath is absolute rubbish! It's in two halves held together by a cheap spring. The whole thing collapses as soon as you try to use it. Fortunately I had some one piece insertion tools from a previous purchase elsewhere. If I'd had to rely on the cheap 'n nasty tool supplied I wouldn't have been able to use the sheaths. You can get better made stuff elsewhere.

I have some existing cable tidy and, in comparison, the Philex product is much poorer quality - certainly not deluxe. The surface is rough and pock marked and not really black. Read more

Average cable tidy
It does what it says on the tin, but the applicator tool is hopeless. The spring keeps popping off and the hinges come apart far too easily. Read more

Decent product but the insertion tool is useless
