Phil Collins stars in this live performance from Perkins Palace, USA in 1983. Just to show how captivating his music is, I was born in 1983 and so obviously this music lasts over time.

On his cd's his music is rocking, with his amazing drum and percussion ability i cannot commend his music highly enough. Live, Phil Collins' music is even better and that is what you get in this video !

If you're not into the loud drums and noisy live music there are a few subtle tracks to keep everyone happy along with the great tracks such as 'In The Air Tonight'. Basically this video is for anyone who wants to listen to a good mixture of catchy music, while being entertained by Phil Collins and his band.

The video includes two of my fav Phil Collins songs, 'You Can't Hurry Love' and 'In The Air Tonight' which you have probably heard and i can guarantee are great live on this video. Other treats and highlights from the video are 'I Missed Again', 'I Don't Care Anymore' and 'Behind These Lines'.

All that remains to be said is this video is 5 star top quality. It contains really catchy music with a great feeling behind it, buy it now !

Great time for P. COLLINS . The sound is not that good but it's VHS and not DVD quality . First song " I don't care anymore " is disturbed by extract of interview from Phil and extracts of other songs !!!! Actually Collins and Genesis are accostumed to that , just see new DVD of Three Sides Live Tour where songs are cut by interviews !!! It's a pity ! But worth to have though as this was the very good times of Collins along with No Ticket Required ( But for this DVD is not available either ! ) PLease , give us a true quality with realease of DVD with great sound of those 2 concerts !

From Phil's 1st Tour as a solo artist. Great Show 15 Nov 2006

Speaking as a Phil fan (for 22 years and counting), I have got to say this is a very good show. If you're a new found fan, buy his latest DVD "Finally, the first farewell tour-2006" & this one. There's a bit of difference in the shows. The new
one has somewhat more of a stage production. Very very well established as a solo artist, producer, songwriter, drummer & percussionist. Highly recommended. But THIS one, "Live at Perkins Palace", is more of a humbled concert (although Phil
is humble no matter what). Not quite as many band members with him on stage & the set list (choice of songs - in Layman's terms)is not that large because he's only had two solo albums at the point of this concert.
I highly recommend anyone reading this review purchase this tape. Half these tunes on here, Phil hardly performs live these days. Tunes such as: "I cannot believe it's true", "Behind the Lines", "The roof is leaking" & "Thru these walls" are pretty much never performed live in the 21st century. The younger Phil fans have never even heard of those tunes, much less heard them. The point is, this is a classic, great show. And, Phil was & IS an incredible & phenomenal DRUMMER. And he does some awesome drumming in this video. Buy it. Thanks for reading this.
