Firstly, this shouldnt be in the book section. It is a card game.
I played this game several days ago, and after I played it I went straight online to find out how where I could get it.
It is just like UNO, except more fun, and a bit more grown up.
It is great for people of all ages, we had somebody who was seven years old, and the oldest person was 68. Everybody was having fun.
The rules aren't hard to master, you will pick it up in a bout 5 minutes.
All I can say now is 'BUY IT' it is extremely fun, and for under £10 extremely good value.
You will not regret it.

I first purchased Phase 10 during a trip to the United States in the 1980s. As a family we have played the game regularly and it is certainly one of the most popular card games that involve all members of the family from the youngest to the oldest. We are now on our fifth pack of cards and have to all replace my sister's and parents' sets at regular intervals.
The game is simple and in addition to playing the standard format, you can invent phases of your own or just go up to Phase 10 and back down again.
You either collect sets of the same number or runs or combinations of both. You also get the chance to skip players.
The popularity of the game can be judged by the fact that youngsters nearly always ask for this game by choice.

1. Don't know why this is in the book section.
2. Recommended for kids in the 8-80 age range.
3. If you've ever played UNO then try this, it's better.
4. Try it once and your HOOKED!
5. Simple game to understand and rules are clear.
6. Keeps the kids quiet - honestly!

My Mother got me hooked on Phase 10. She picked the game up on a holiday in Florida. We have been playing it for about three years now. We introduce the game to new friends whenever possible and never tire of playing. The game suits all ages and we range from 7 years to 62 in our circle. The more people playing the harder the game is however it is a very easy game to pick up. It can also be frustrating at times especially when there are about 8 people playing!!

Phase 10 is a fantastic option for rainy days, especially with the rubbish that is on TV these days. Playing in a large group is more challenging and time consuming but the game can be easily adapted to make it shorter and different each game. It is small so easy to take on holiday. All in all, a very good purchase!

Hi there !
Have you ever wondered about the different card games out there ? Found yourself something that sounds interesting, but learning a new game is always a medal with two faces. Dont worry ! Get this as it is simple to learn, even simple for kids (its not more difficult than uno) but still it is an exciting game to play. Depending if you plan an evening in or just a quick afternoon play, its down to you to change the gameplay. This way you can decide for the rest of the time that you spend with your loved ones. Good game for young & old, and lets face it, the few quids for a game , whats the risk ? Have as much fun as we have with it !

It's not clear to my family why this game is as popular as claimed. The instructions are not at all clear. To play it we would have had to make up our own rules........and then it seems no better than a game of rummy with an ordinary pack of cards.

This is a cross between rumicub and train rummy
I have played it with groups of adults and children and it has been enjoyed by both
i have in fact bought it as Christmas presents for five separate people
Very good value for money
