one of the best written by watson, explains the fields of spectroscopy excellently and useful for for beginners. i myself found it enjoyable but there could have been better illustrations in the text apart from that theres not much to criticise, a big thumbs up to the authors!

I found this text book extremely useful. It complemented the relevant module of my degree perfectly, it is easy to understand and great value too.

Excellent for practical write-ups and exam revision. Everything I needed to know was right there, easy to find, and in just the right amount of detail. The worked examples are especially useful for exam revision.

I would definately recommend buying this text book if you are looking for a comprehensive reference text for GC, HPLC, UV-VIS spectroscopy, NMR etc. as part of a pharmacy degree.

Boring Subject, Brilliantly Presented.

Pharmacy degrees are nothing if they don't have a module you hate in them somewhere. For me it was pharmaceutical analysis. Read more

Just what I ordered!

Great delivery time....right on schedule....however, though I got what I wanted, I was not overly impressed with the contents of the book, not that well set out.

Practical aid ( in every sense )

Would I buy it? No......I spent around 3 hours in the university library, illegally photocopying around half the book!!! It IS quite pricey... Read more
