Gave me the best hours of play that I ever had 2 Mar 2009
By Kurt A. Johnson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Pharoah is an AD&D (1st edition) module for 6-8 characters of level 5-7. When the party is dragooned into tracking raiders into the Desert of Desolation, they little know what lies in wait for them. The shadow of the long-dead Pharaoh Amun-re has been looking for a party of mighty adventurers to open his pyramid and free him from his long bondage. But, the pyramid has not stood inviolate for no reason. It is filled with monsters and traps, and it will take brains more than brawn to overcome this obstacle.

This is an excellent adventure module, one that I often think gave me the best hours of play that I ever had. The tricks are very interesting, and take a good deal of thought - none of this "it's poisoned, saving throw or you die." Instead, it takes nerves and brains. So, if you are looking for module that gives you more than hack-and-slash, the get your self Pharoah by Tracy and Laura Hickman.

(Yes, that's right, by Tracy and Laura Hickman, the authors of such excellent works of fantasy as the Death Gate Cycle. So, you know this has to be a great module!)

One of best desrt adventures of all time 2 May 2000
By Kent David Kelly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
One of the most respected AD&D adventures of all time, this one marks Tracy & Laura Hickman's entry to the TSR fold. Later, due to the dramatic plotting exhibited here, they would be asked to help create a series of novels and modules known as Dragonlance... the spirit of Amun-re swirls before you in the sands, beseeching you to plunder his tomb. Why? And how can anyone but the nomads survive in this savage desert where giant spiders burrow in the sands, the sun blasts the earth to crystal, and the efreeti reign supreme? Well, that's not my problem, I'll let your players handle that... :) An extremely challenging classic for levels 5-7.

Great HTF Item 18 Sep 2008
By Butterfly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Ok so we are a bunch of nerds in my family and grew up playing D&D. Our father was even a DM for NANCON several years. So when my oldest brother expressed an interest in finding some of these older D&D items I started hunting and found this book. He said it is in great condition just as the seller promised!
