I purchased this music for the sake of one piece - The Music of the Night - but found that it was so clear and easy to play that I have enjoyed playing the other pieces as well. A really good book and very reasonably priced, especially as there is so much in it.

As with some piano vocal parts, the piano does not always have the melody as the melody is sung, so is useless if you want to just play the piano as a solo. However this book does not do this. I only play these pieces as piano solos, and the melody flows all the time!
All of the hits from the soundtrack are in this book!

A great book for musical phantom fans!

This book was requested as a Christmas present by my son. He had previously borrowed it from the library and him and his sister have played through quite a few pieces together. He plays piano so has to key change(does it electronically)so she can play her clarinet along with him, but they've really enjoyed the arrangements so I guess it's good. I get much pleasure from hearing them willingly playing together, this music is inspiring.
