Product Description

Phantom In The Night features a female agent from the Bureau of American Defense, who's after a home-grown terrorist...Nathan Drake is a typical overachiever, graduating high school at seventeen and joining the Army to help support his ailing mother and twin brother. When his brother Jamie is arrested for drug charges, Nathan knows the stress would kill their mother so he makes a deal with his brother. He'll serve the eighteen-month sentence provided Jamie promises to clean up his act. But all doesn't go as planned. Nathan ends up in a fight that results with his having to serve the entire six-year sentence. A year later, his mother succumbs to her cancer and dies. Three days before his release, Jamie is killed by someone from his drug-dealing past. His life in shambles, his family gone, Nathan has no reason to live. Donning the guise of a "ghost," he systematically begins assassinating every criminal who had a part in his brother's death...

Having seen and heard nothing of this book beyond it being the third in the BAD series I bought and read blind, with no expectations beyond good old fashioned 'romance' novel performance.

Having read the first two BAD stories I read and enjoyed this book and found it to be exactly what I expected it to be.

Your basic 'Romance' novel this book isn't designed to be high art or a literary classic, it's a romance novel and if you hadn't told me it was co written I never would have guessed. It's not below par in my opinion and I found it comparable to any Keynon novel I have ever read (which is all of them bar Acheron which is arriving next week...)

The plot is, as always, obvious but then that's because you know the guy will get the girl at the end (sorry if I ruined the ending for anyone there) this isn't a genre you buy for the suspensful 'what will become of us' endings this is the genre you buy for 'no matter what happens love will triumph'

Any one who enjoyed the first two stories should also enjoy this book.

I am a hugh sherrilyn Kenyon fan, i love her dark hunters series, adore her born of night series, this is good but the least favourite of the series. it's a romance fbi cop type series. not much in the paranormal stakes which is a shame as SK does paranormal so well. romantic love type stories mixed in with convicts and police fbi etc. ( special non exsistant unit of assasins ).

this novel was co written and i feel sherrliyn gave her idea over to her fellow author and didn't contribute to the writing which shows in the book!
