Albert Jack is to be coomended on both introducing to the casual reader of books on urban myths and the snooty academic folklore establishment so may fresh contemporary legends. This a lightweight romp through many familiar friend-of-a-friend tales, but it is spiced with dubious anecdotes about celebrities. I read this book on evenings in the bath and it gave me much enjoyment. His demolition of the barmy man-made global warming myth should be required reading for all believers in this nonsense. Could have been editorially tightened, but great fun. Buy it! You won't be diappointed. 4/5.
