An example of how to use Amino Drive is below:
Upon waking: Use 1 serving of Amino Drive to ensure an early intake of amino acids, including the important Branched Chain Amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, which helps athletes build lean muscle mass.
Pre- evening workout: Many of us workout at night and are caffeine sensitive. An influx of caffeine and/or other stimulants at this time may disrupt sleep patterns. Many of the PhD athletes (and staff) use Amino Drive before their evening workouts to help them achieve their workout goals, but still sleep well at night.
Amino Drive also contains:
1.4mg Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6 is a vital inclusion within Amino Drive as it has been shown to help reduce tiredness and fatigue. This is an important in a product like Amino Drive which does not contain caffeine, an ingredient most of us use to help provide a “pick me up”. Vitamin B6 can also contribute to normal red blood cell formulation. Red blood cells are critically important for all athletes as they carry oxygen to the muscles, allowing us to exercise for longer.
4g BCAA’s per serving: Branched Chain Amino acids are often called the “critical cluster” of amino acids, with Leucine in particular receiving lots of positive press and feedback from athletes.
2.5g L-Glutamine per serving: L-Glutamine is classified as a non essential amino acid, that may become conditionally essential in certain situations, including intensive athletic training, so an essential for any serious athlete and a vital addition to Amino Drive.
3g Taurine (or 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid): Is found naturally in food, especially seafood and meat and is a derivative of the important amino acid, Cysteine.
93mg Dimethlyaminoethanol(DMAE): Certainly not to be mistaken for the banned stimulant DMAA (Often called Geranium extract), DMAE is formulated into Choline in the liver and has been the subject of a variety of studies into such topics as mood improvement, alertness and even attention deficit disorder (ADHD).
3g L-Tyrosine: Sometimes called 4-Hydroxyphenylalanine, L-Tyrosine is one of 22 amino acids used to synthesize protein. It is a popular amino acid used extensively in a variety of weight loss and pre workout, energising type products.
500mg NAC (A-Acetyl L Carnitine): NAC is an acetylated version of L-Carnitine and is the subject of ongoing research into it’s ability to act as an antioxidant and also as an ingredient with neuro-protective capabilities.
Amino Drive can be used before and during workout use: Because Amino Drive contains Branched Chain Amino Acids, it is great to use during (intra) workout as well as before a tough session. In fact, research shows us that many PhD users mix a serving of Amino Drive into their PhD shaker cup and drink 50% before a workout and then sip on the remainder, during their session.
