This product was very inexpensive, but I bought it on the understanding that it was clumping litter and to be honest its not very good at clumping. I will be looking for an alternative.

This litter is very fine, dustlike, I was disappointed with it. Or perhaps I was unlucky and got a bad bag, I do not know. Having recently got 2 kittens from a rescue centre, I am trying to house train them, at nearly 4 months old, difficult as they are set in their habits.(I am very experienced with kittens and so cat litters! having had 11 kittens in the past,(3 of these lived to age 14) and fostered 3, and have only experienced the odd 'accident' from kittens/cats before and some no problems at all). This pair, their only 'home' has been the rescue centre, so difficult to retrain. They have urinated on my conservatory floor a number of times, spoiling it, they sometimes use litter tray, but sometimes the floor, rugs,a doormat, slippers, their brand new cat carrier, their own bed, and a chair cushion! I have been desperately trying different litters, to encourage them to use their tray properly, and thought to save time and money by having a large bag delivered to my door from Amazon! (since I wrote the above review, I have bought some silica chips, which are wonderful at absorbing odours, mixed this with the dusty litter to use it up and have taken away from the kittens anything they might try and use as a toilet, given them a new bed, which they are sleeping in (not using as a toilet) so I am now seeing some success with the silica chips mixed with the dusty litter!)

amazing .... cat loves it .... last so much longer than a normal sized bag from the supermarket which cost nearly the same amount
