Bought this for my 1 yr old Border Collie. She had the insides pulled out and the ends chewed to pieces within a 1/2 hour. Not safe, not durable, a waste of money. My advice on chew toys? The simpler the better. Soak and wring out a dishrag and put it in the freezer. It will last just as long before your dog begins tearing the fabric, and your dog will love the cold especially if he/she is teething. Dogs love to chew on ice-cubes, though they don't last too long. Or spend a little for antler; they don't splinter and last forever. Or thick, plain white tug-ropes or rawhide braids. Whatever you do, stay away from plastic and nylon.
