If your neighbour's dog is driving you bonkers with his barking, help is here! Our ultrasonic outdoor bark control unit looks like any ordinary birdhouse that can hang in a tree, on a fence post or anywhere outside. It detects barking from up to 15 metres away and has 3 range settings. Whenever your dog - or your neighbour's dog - barks, he will hear a safe, high-pitched sound (inaudible to humans) that will cue him to stop his annoying habit.

Wonderful item. Worked on my mothers Wire Haired Dachund within 5 minutes. Keeps the neighbours quiet too. The great thing is no-one knows we have anything in place as it just looks like a bird house. It has baffled the dog too. Well worth its money.
I recently bought the Petsafe dog suppressant bird house to help control the barking of the two dogs next door. I have mounted it in numerous different places outside, different heights and facing the garden where the dogs like to play.
I have used different range settings and confirmed that the unit works in 'test' mode. Over the last 10 days I have heard very little difference in the level of barking and yesterday I went outside to actually check if the unit was self activating while the dogs were barking within 10ft away. The red light blinked once during a 5 minuite barking episode thereby confirming to me that the product sensitivity is useless.
I only purchased this product as I didn't want to waste a lot of money and on the whole the reviews have been good. I have followed all directions on the instruction manual and have concluded that this unit is absolutley useless.
I paid £35 for this product and it has had no effect on either of the neighbours dogs whatsoever.
I would strongly suggest to anyone considering buying this birdcage to look elsewhere as it basically complete rubbish.

We have had our anti-barking device pointing over the neighbour's fence and downwards so that when the horrible little Scottie comes out at 6.15 am it should get a blast as soon as it starts yapping. Either it is a rather stupid dog or just doesn't care because it barks almost as much as before. At one stage, it seemed to be quite clever by rushing out and scampering to the far side of their garden to be out of range of the device before barking. We are unsure about whether the device works or not and after about 3 months, we expected better results. It makes us feel a bit better because we are at least trying to do something about the nuisance. We did consider buying an ultra-sonic anti-barking collar and popping it anonymously through his letter box. He certainly hasn't taken the hint and we just hope that the animal dies soon.
