Avoid like the plague, 7 Feb 2012
This review is from: 58cc Petrol Chainsaw with 20" Bar, TWO 76 link chains, Easy Start & Carry Case (Misc.)
i wondered why this was so cheap and realise now! chainsaws are dangerous items so please spend a bit more on something of better quality. really hard to to assemble & really difficult to start. Build quality feels shabby and really didnt feel safe while using it. Avoid like the plague.

Superb Value Chainsaw, 29 Jan 2012
This review is from: 58cc Petrol Chainsaw with 20" Bar, TWO 76 link chains, Easy Start & Carry Case (Misc.)
Ok, So I seriously debated as to whether to buy this Saw or not as it looked too good to be true. Well I needn't have bothered its excellent. I bought it to cut up an old oak tree which had been fallen for a number of years and was well seasoned. The trunk was 30 plus inches in diameter. The saw just sailed through it not loosing power at all. I struggled to start it the first time I used it but since then it has not been a problem. If you are thinking of buying a saw of this size then you will struggle to get a better saw for the price. Delivery was excellent also, and no problem to assemble the Bar and chain

tango orange cs5800 chainsaw startup, 10 Dec 2011
This review is from: 58cc Petrol Chainsaw with 20" Bar, TWO 76 link chains, Easy Start & Carry Case (Misc.)
Hi all you chainsaw freaks. and those of you who are considering taking on the ownership of the CS5800 Chainsaw. Well don't just sit there reading this, order it, GO ON.
I am CHAINSAW EDDIE, and this is part (A) of my review on the on the CS8500 58cc chainsaw from MJ TRADING LTD, I am a one time engineer, and now flog chainsaws to the DIY er etc etc
The first thing you MUST DO is to purchase protecive head, ear , and eye gear. because you will need your eyes to locate the various body parts that one can remove in a chainsaw accident.
Right here goes, I saw the CS8500 advertised on the MJ TOOLS shop front on AMAZON .So with a view to add this model chainsaw to my stock. I try them before before I purchase in any quantity. before I sell them to the D.I.Y er. ( This is a wise move I have found)
I sent a Email to M.J.T and had a very rapid response from a guy called PAUL, I was impressed
The next two Emails I sent never got answered. Not to worry a ????
So I placed the order on the evening of 8.12.2011 and the goods arrived on the morning of 10.12.2011. this is top of the range delivery or what.
I understand that people complain, and even send back chainsaws that wont start after being fuelled up strait out of the box. NOW GET CLOSER, NO CLOSER THATS IT GET RIGHT UP TO THE SCREEN AND I WILL TELL YOU A LITTLE BIT OF NONCENCE THAT NEVER FAILS. When you fill the tank up for the first time ,fill it up until it overfills. then what you must do is to pressurise the fuel system. you can do this buy first put a rubber glove on the hand that you intend to use, and with a ball of blue tak , make sure that the ball of bluetak is bigger that the filler hole in th rank. don't want to loose the blustak in the fuel tank.
now what you do is, place the ball right over the fuel filler. and push down firmly ,( please do not be to heavy handed) and what in fact happens that the fuel is forced into the carb. after you have done this say twice, fill the tank so that it is over filled, then put the fuel tank cap back on, leave for about 10 mins. THEN GO FOR IT MAN.
ONCE THE LITTLE BUGGER FIRES. PUT THE CHOKE BACK TO ALMOST OFF. LET IT TICKOVER FOR A BIT, THEN REV IT UP A BIT.
The above advice is not the advice of the manufacturer, whoever they may be.or that of MJ TOOLS
its not even my advice. it is a method that i have used to get fuel into the chainsaw carb, and it works. The next thing to buy is a electric chain grinder, they are a lot cheaper than having them sharpened by people like me or new chains. You can get one from AMAZON, but please please read the reviews on these before you buy. I know what I am talking about, I have got the scares to prove it. SO GO AND GET ONE OF THESE CHAINSAWS, OK. see you later. Part (B) will be put together when I have finished my work in the AMAZON jungle
signed without prejudice.. CHAINSAW EDDIE.
