I first saw this pram in mothercare and liked the feel, size and what it had to offer.
The shopping trolly part under the pram is nicely raised from the floor.
The weight is light enough for me to carry alone.
It's simple to put together, fold up and take out.
It's not at all bulky.
It comes with car seat, rain cover and cup (bottle) holder.
It's nice and easy to push.
Apparently it has suspension on the back wheels although having taken it over rough terrain...I'm not sure how much suspension it has and so you do get a rickety feel though not too much. I guess it's not a mountain bike. The wheels are made of tough plastic, not rubber.
The car seat is tricky to put in and does take some patience if not brute force. Even then, I don't use it in the pram as my newborn looked horribly slumped, I thought this was what it was for but was told by a midwife to take my baby out and just lay her flat (the main seat of the pram goes right back). I was disappointed with this as I wanted to see my newborn for the first few weeks when using the pram and putting her in the main seat doesn't allow me to do this. Also my boyfriend and I tend to kick the bottom of the pram when pushing it, I think this may be the backlash of having a well risen shopping basket.
My only other concern is the foot rest as it does seem quite small and narrow. I doubt an older child or a child with big feet will be able to rest their feet there for long...saying that I'll be using that as my queue to stick my pram in the cupboard and get my little one walking more!
*Edit* A year and a half down the line and breaks have been completely chomped off. It's hard to explain the mechanism of the breaks on this buggy but I'll try. There is a cog and the breaks are applied when the cog is purposefully jammed. In the past year the parts of the cog have all flicked off as it was made of plastic not metal. This was because while pushing the pram the cog would become jammed, this I think was from overloading the buggy but also when my child became heavier.
