I have real trouble rating this pushchair, but the fact that I've replaced it after less than four months speaks for itself.
The good things about it are: the beautiful design, so stylish and lovely colours. The fold is really quick and easy and it is wonderfully light and manoeuvrable. even though it has two handles they're joined high up meaning it has really good one-handed steering. It has a full recline and the Z-shaped frame adds it's own suspension. I think my daughter was really comfy in this. For these features I've awarded it two stars.
Minor issues: If you are getting one make sure you get the new design with the adjustable height handles! I ordered mine online and and got an old model where they didn't adjust, meaning that even at 5 foot 6 inches I found it too low. My hubby, at over six foot tall found it very uncomfortable to push and kept kicking the wheels! The basket is virtually impossible to get into if the seat is reclined. The hood doesn't come down that far so your baby will be blinded by a low sun. The brake didn't seem to fully engage, you needed to flip it on then roll the wheels back to engage it. Fine once you know how but it led to a scary bus experience! Also, one of the wheels developed a persistent squeak which no amount of WD 40 seemed to eliminate. Lastly, the bespoke footmuff is very small, my LO was 11 months and under 50th percentile on height and I had trouble getting her feet into it.
The deal breaker was: being so compact and light it's very easy to tip. My daughter is very active and quite strong, she likes to rock back and forwards in the chair sometimes and I had seen her making the entire chair move. I had it go over backwards on a slope when my daughter was asleep and blamed myself as I had her nappy bag on the back. I decided to replace it though, when my hubby took her to the shops and it flipped over sideways and forwards, landing my daughter face-first on the floor of the shop with the pushchair on top of her!!!
To sum this up, I would recommend this chair if you have a relaxed baby who won't rock about in the chair as mine does, if you run a car or use the bus a lot and never travel over a light stroll. it is perfect for light city use and just beautiful. It is totally unsuited to anyone who might go over rough terrain or prolonged outdoor use with an active child. If, like me, you fall into the latter category then you're better spending your money on something a little more sturdy.
